Daddy Daughter Date

Since I did not have mom to help me, I was a little slow on Oakleys costume. She wanted to be a stick drawing. I needed to do a mask, but she couldn't wear one, so I will have to figure something better out for that. Maybe do a skirt too. I don't know. Bailee thought Chris was wearing a kilt, but he was festive enough to wear his rodeo clown gear. At least he got a chance to wear his new wrangler shirt the kids picked out for him.

She won the scariest costume, guess I better not clean a spot on my shelf for the mom of the year award!

Hunting Trip

Chris hauled everything and Doug showed Chris where to go and I fed them both so not sure whose hunting trip to call it. I just know my horse went and I stayed. They went above Howe. Chris said it was neat they did see deer, but nothing big enough for my mighty hunter (ok they did, but once again it went over the other hill and dad wasn't there too shoot it). He said he could have shot a 2 point, but he said the mom was bigger than it. Who needs another horn that fits on their key chain - right Cody?!

I am starting to understand why he comes home empty handed... he has more pictures of old machinery, dredges, dozers, etc. than deer. Look how tall that thing is.

Dillon Did It

Dillon has his friend Jace with Leukemia. He is starting to loose his hair so his family had a shaving party. Since Dillon heard Jace was loosing his hair hes said he would get a "no hair" cut like Jace. Tonight he did. It did my heart good to see him jump in there and say "all of it". (I will take better ones later)
